Jared Avery, the event chairman, described it as a project that not only raised money to support the club's youth service programs, but was fun for the club, the patrons and the truck drivers.

There were over thirty trucks on site, including a massive fire truck lent by Shaw Brothers Construction and an armored personnel carrier brought by South Portland Police. Scarborough Fire Department sent its Squad Truck, another favorite, and there was even an armored Brinks truck. A band of high school students from York played music, and there was a bouncy house and pony rides for the youngsters. The Scarborough High School Interact Club supervised the bouncy house and offered face painting for donations. They raised over $250 for their own service projects.

It was a busy service week. Rotary tapped friends and family to help out with the event. Scarborough Kiwanis ran the food concession, the SHS Interact Club had two events going that day (the other was a bake sale at a track meet), The next day Rotary and Kiwanis helped some Scarborough High School Alumni with their annual scholarship benefit golf tournament. Part of the proceeds were added to Rotary's scholarship awards, bringing the total up to $8,000.  Winners were announced Tuesday at the high school awards ceremony. Tuesday was also the night of the presentation of Student of the Quarter Awards to four more middle school students.
