Scarborough Food Pantry Appreciates Food Drive

Scarborough Rotary and Shaw's Supermarkets collected boxes of donated foods and almost $400 in food gift cards for the Scarborough Food Pantry on Saturday, February 22nd, 2014. It was the second annual food drive for the partnership, which was scheduled on Rotary's World Peace and Understanding Day. Rotary is a worldwide service organization that focuses on Health, Hunger and Humanitarian needs.

President Candy received a thank you note: "Thank you so much for your collection for the Scarborough Food Pantry....The people in this area are most generous. Many thanks to Candy and all of you Rotarians for your help". Shaw's announced the food drive with flyers and signs in the Scarborough store.
