Facing Maine Advocates For Individuals Affected Cleft and Craniofacial Conditions
Fran Philbrook is the founder of Facing Maine, an organization for individuals and families in Maine affected by facial disfigurement or conditions looking for connection and support. She was the guest speaker Tuesday, October 11th.
Her organization promotes awareness, education, advocacy, and therapy for those affected by these conditions. They are presently involved in an ant-bullying campaign which aims to impact students in Cumberland and York county intermediate schools during the 2016-2017 academic year using the children's novel: Wonder by R.
