About the Rotary Club of Scarborough:

The Rotary Club of Scarborough was founded in 1960, and chartered in 1961.  The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development. The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.  To learn more about becoming a part of Scarborough Rotary visit www.scarboroughrotary.org.

About Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution:

One of the underlying principles of a mutual savings bank is the improvement not only of the bank’s financial condition, and its commitment to offer its customers the best rates and lowest fees possible, but to support the communities and the people that it serves. For over 182 years, Maine’s oldest bank has maintained and incredible record of support to the communities in its service area and beyond.  Saco & Biddeford Savings actively assists many local clubs, groups, and non-profit organizations through whose efforts help make our communities a better place in which to live and work. The bank’s Community Investment Program and its Charitable Foundation, founded in 1998, embody that philosophy today. Founded in 1827, Saco & Biddeford Savings currently has branches in Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach, Scarborough, South Portland, Westbrook, and its headquarters in downtown Saco.
